BACHELOR OF AERONAUTICAL of ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY (PROFESSIONAL PILOTING) with HONOURS
The Bachelor of Aeronautical Engineering Technology (Professional Piloting) with Honours is a collaborated programme between AATA and Faculty of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, UTHM. The programme aims to provide you with the skills and knowledge to become an aeronautical engineer while at the same time provides you the knowledge, skills and attitude required to be a pilot. At the end of the programme will be able to obtain both the degree and also a pilot license.
Minimum Entry Requirement
- Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with at least grade B in Bahasa Melayu and English
AND
- Malaysia Ministry of Education Matriculation Certificate / Equivalent Obtained CPA ≥
2.80 in Matriculation Examination / equivalent with at least grade B in Mathematics /
Engineering Mathematics, Chemistry / Engineering Chemistry and Physics /
Engineering Physics / Biology (with at least grade B in Physics at SPM level) /
Mechanical Engineering Studies
OR
- STPM / equivalent with at least grade B in Mathematics / Pure Mathematics / Applied
Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics / Biology (with at least grade B in Physics at SPM
level)
OR
- Diploma from any Public Institution of Higher Education (IPTA) / Polytechnics /
equivalent qualification with at least CPA ≥ 2.80 in related fields or CPA ≥ 2.50 with
Two (2) years working experience in the related fields
- Pass interview, Aptitude and Attitude Tests
- BMI approximately ~ 25
- Obtain at least band 3 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET)
- Candidates shall hold a valid Malaysian Class 1 Aircrew Medical Certificate. (Note: A
medical certificate acceptable by CAAM issued by a DAME)

PPL PROGRAMME

ACADEMIC COMPONENT
You will complete your academic component during your first phase of study. If you choose our CPL/IR with Frozen ATPL Programme, you will complete your academic component at the end of their Third Year, Second Semester. If you choose our PPL Programme, you will complete your academic component at the end of their Fourth Year, Second Semester.
Both of the academic components will be conducted in UTHM.

You will undergo licensing component training during your Third Year, Second Semester if you choose our CPL/IR with Frozen ATPL Programme. If you choose our PPL Programme, your licensing component training will start during your Fourth Year, Second Semester.
Both of the training either PPL and CPL/IR with Frozen ATPL will be conducted in AATA
